  • Aug. 2007: Consortium agreement has been signed by all partners.

  • Aug. 2007: Hessam Moussavinik joins the project as a PhD fellow. His research topic will be on robust medical communication solutions.
    Prof. Ilangko Balasingham will function as main supervisor, where co-supervisors will be Dr. Niels Aakvaag of Enfo Broadcast AS, Prof.
    Øien and Prof. Ramstad.

  • Aug. 2007: Mariam Kaynia joins the project as a PhD fellow. Her research topic will be on adaptive spectrum allocation. Prof. Geir Øien
    will function as the main supervisor, where Profs. Balasingham and Ramstad as the co-supervisors.

  • Jul. 2007: Loc Tan Vo has submitted his Master thesis on "An optimized cross-layer protocol for patient confined wireless networks"

  • Jul. 2007: Håvard Lande has submitted his Master thesis on "Ultra wideband impulse radio for biomedical sensor network"

  • Jun. 2007: Øyvind Kleppe Asphjell has submitted his Master thesis on "Biomedical sensor network based on ultra wideband impulse radio
    and IEEE 802.15.4"

  • Jun. 2007: Martin Hansen and Kristian Ødegaard have submitted their Master thesis on "Detection of myocardial ischemia in biomedical
    signals by the use of 3-axis accelerometer sensor"

  • Apr. 2007: Pham Minh Long joins the project as a PhD fellow. His research topic will be on distributed signal processing. Prof. Tor
    Ramstad will function as the main supervisor, where Prof. Balasingham as the co-supervisor.

  • Nov. 2006: Peyman Mirtaheri is hired as a Postdoc in the sensor array project.

  • Oct. 2006: Kickoff meeting and first work shop take place at Rikshospitalet in Oslo. Prof. Babs Soller of University of Massachusetts
    Medical Center in Boston is the invited speaker. Prof. Soller's group will function as one of the external collaborators in the project. She
    will co-supervise Peyman Mirtaheri, who will be Postdoc in designing and developing a pH sensor and sensor array. The program plan
